I have been playing around with underglazes and this set of watercolor underglazes and I am so excited to use them with my students!I love to use underglazes because the results are more painterly and easier to control. You can use underglazes on clay before it ever goes in the kiln or it can be applied on bisqueware, which is what I prefer.My favorite technique is to use watered down black, brown, red (whatever color that will make your carved areas pop!) and wipe off bisqueware with a sponge.
