Cleaning up the L2 spindle Mount inside the 21” Cushman chuck. I started off with a polishing flap wheel to brighten up the metal and clean it well. Next I used a round stone to help dress the high spots, followed by a diamond home to polish the finish and help smooth out any highs that were created by chips and neglect in its past life. The objective is to simply clean the bore and remove any high spots that might cause the chuck to not align correctly on the spindle nose. #abom79 #restoration
