One of the must common faults I see in swimmers with shoulder pain is not properly retracting their shoulder blades. If you look at the first video, you see that most of the motion is coming from around the armpit area. This means that your rotator cuff is doing most of the work when you bring your arms up. And there is more stress placed on the front of the shoulder. What you want instead, is your shoulder blades to pull back first to start the motion (see second clip). This indicates your trap
