Last night I played solo first, followed by with our 7 piece band later, at the Mussel, for a GB Arts Festival event. Honestly, I was so not in the mood to play solo. It can feel so raw and vulnerable. I felt anxiety humming in my body. I wanted to gallop back out the gate and head for my car and hide. Maybe head to the beach and watch a bit of Disney Plus 🤷‍♀️. But I didn’t. I played my songs and kind people said appreciative things to me, and afterwards there was fejoia cider and mussel chowd
