A lot of people enjoy working with a walking plow behind their team of horses. The feel of the earth being sliced and turned over with roots popping resonates through the plow frame to the wood handles. Problem is, to plow a long field, the teamster must do a lot of walking. That's one of the reasons many prefer to ride a sulky plow instead. Paul Vanderlaan of Cleburne, Mich., has found a way to work with a walking plow but not have to take all the steps.
