I have aroid plants flowering. The inflorescence open in a blink of an eye lasting around 24 to 48 hours on Philodendron. During the spathe opening, female parts are receptive to pollen and during the closing of the spath, the male parts produce pollen (usually during the night), also producing heat to attract the pollinators during the cooler night.
