The Windermere XIII Barndominium

This year we adopted 680 hens into loving homes after saving them from slaughter at the end of their 60 week existence in the battery cages to lay eggs day after day in a cramped tiny wire space for humans. We have 21 ladies and two roosters remaining and we officially moved them into our main barn last week before the nights turn cold🙏 We’ve made a special temporary set up for them so they can safely meet our other other rescue hens and roosters through a fence.
