This is off the charts cool! . . #Repost @thercgeek ・・・ A couple weeks ago I went to a local edf event and got a chance to film this really cool scratch built VTOL F-35B. (Link in bio for full vid) The model featured a completely 3d printed rotating nozzle and fuselage section with the remaining structure built from foam board. In total there are 2x 90mm EDFs for primary lift in the hover with 2x 3” shrouded props in the wings for roll control. Really cool stuff! “...but still I love technology,

The single-engine plane dropped from the sky, hit the freeway in between moving cars and left a trail of fuel and fire as it slid.
