It’s Desert Tortoise Week! 🐢 These amazing creatures can be found in southwestern Utah. However, their populations are quite vulnerable to habitat loss or degradation. Desert tortoises live for a very long time — with life spans of 50 to 80 years — but they don’t reach reproductive maturity until they are 13 to 20 years old.
