Do you appreciate moss? There are around 20,000 different types of moss in the world. It is the oldest land plant, dating back over 400 million years. I started working on this moss garden in 2020 at our cottage in southwest New Hampshire (zone 5). There was already some moss there and I liked the way it looked so I started adding small pieces I got from the surrounding woods.
