Why I'm one of those weirdos who walks OFF the footpath and on the grass! Because it's so good for my joints. It's way better if you're barefoot or in minimalist footwear, your feet and ankles can strengthen and stabilise brilliantly. But even in regular shoes it's still super beneficial because your ankles, knees, hips and lower back can benefit. When we stick to what's comfortable, easy and flat we get weaker, lazier and unhealthier. I hope this inspires you to get off the path next time you g
