Yamaha KX88...The holy grail of controllers? - Harmony Central
2005年9月22日 · Unlike a Rhodes (which I think is a terrible comparison - they're not alike at all), the keys on the KX88 snap back very quickly, very similar to an acoustic piano. The KX88 does not, however, have any kind of simulated "hammer action", as on the late model Yamaha 88 note keyboards (Motif, S90, P series digital pianos, etc.).
KX88 / KX8 Question? - Keys, Synths & Samplers - Harmony Central
2009年9月21日 · The KX88/KX76 has a really non-intuitive, multiple-button-pushing way of accessing its "setups". So I don't think that the KX88 offers any advantage over modern controllers in that regard (ie, changing settings quickly/easily). Where the KX88 may have some advantage is in its programmability.
Yamaha KX88 - Keys, Synths & Samplers - Harmony Central
2004年4月30日 · I need some advises please, I am thinking of getting a used 88 keys keyboard for my 2 young sons to take piano lesson. We already have a Baldwin spinet...but since we are now temporarily away from home for 2 years...it is not with us. As there seems to be so many talks of the old Yamaha KX88, I a...
Yamaha KX88 Problems - Keys, Synths & Samplers - Harmony …
2008年11月30日 · My Yamaha KX88 seems to be stuck in Dual Mode. The result is it sending duplicate midi notes to my sequencer, which creates phasing or dropped notes. I've tried the factory reset to no avail. As soon as I select either Single Mode (MS1) or split mode the keyboard freezes and I have to power it off/on again.
Better key action: Roland A80 or Yamaha KX88? - Harmony Central
2007年8月2日 · The KX88, in comparison, tended to "bottom out" and I felt there was more resistance at the end of the stroke- sorta like playing into concrete, but this is subtle. FWIW, I thought the A-80 action was definitely superior to the keyboards that immediately came after, including the A-90, etc.
FS: Yamaha KX88, Kurzweil K2500RS, more - Harmony Central
2009年9月15日 · Both are in excellent condition. This is the original Yamaha KX88 weighted controller, in excellent condition. It got mostly studio use until 1997 when I got a Kurzweil K2500XS which became my main controller. It has been unused since then. FYI, this is the classic Yamaha 88-key weighted keyboard...
Yamaha KX88...The holy grail of controllers? - Harmony Central
2005年9月22日 · Well, good news from the front. The Korg TR rack is currently being shipped to my apartment in Gainesville, and I'm either meeting up with the Yamaha guy this Sunday to buy it from him, or my dad will next Thursday, since he's heading that …
Yamaha KX-88 - fully weighted keys? - Harmony Central
2005年5月25日 · The original DX7 used a 61-note synth-action keyboard that Yamaha named the "FS" action. This action has permeated just about all of Yamaha's pro synths as well as many Korg synths. The current crop of Motifs and Tritons (other than the 88-note versions) still use the FS action. It is a synth action that could be described as unweighted.
Kurzweil RG100 - Keys, Synths & Samplers - Harmony Central
2004年5月1日 · Hello, I need some inputs again please. Since decided not to get the Yamaha KX88 (which I really regretted) , I bidded at EBay for the Kurzweil RG100. I try to find some info on this item, but there is nothing out there on it. Does anyone know much about it. Does it have a good piano sounds and h...
Roland XV-88 - Keys, Synths & Samplers - Harmony Central
2008年6月5日 · - something lighter than my 70lb KX88 would be a bonus - good acoustic pianos - decent other sounds such as organ, strings, bass My current set-up is a KX88 + CX3 with a Triton Rack connected to the KX88 (Yamaha). That is a lot of stuff to bring to gigs and rehearsals.
