2017年5月25日 · Its perfectly constructed arch allows the reflection to create a complete circle, mirroring the bridge and its surroundings to create the feel of a new world beneath the surface. Walking in the freezing cold through eerie forests and desolate villages to find this bridge made the whole experience one that will live in my mind forever.

2018年11月27日 · People climbing on this bridge is the main reason it needs to be renovated. If you get caught climbing on the bridge you actually pay a fine. Unfortunately the park administration doesn't have enough money to surveil it 24/7. Therefore you will find many pictures of stup people climbing on it or riding bikes on it on the internet.

At the other end of the bridge is a brass statue of a monkey body with a helmet you can put your head in, and just past that is an actual bar called The Brass Monkey. They have a shot that translates from German as "climb up the wall" because of the instant heartburn you get from it.. It's like jager and hot sauce or something like that.

2019年4月12日 · Rakotzbrücke is beautifully nestled inside the forest of Kromlau Park. It’s quite old, but it’s not ancient. The Devil’s bridge was built in 1860, by Friedrich the Knight of the local town, which makes it about 160 years old.

And than someone (sometimes a priest) tricks him. For example in the case of the "ponte della maddalena" the priest makes a dog walk over the bridge.

2013年1月18日 · The Bridge is called Rakotzbrücke (Rakotz Bridge), popularly known as the Devil's Bridge, and was build in 1860. Basalt stones were brought by bullock carts from various quarries of Saxon Switzerland and Bohemia. The hexagonal basalt columns were used to build caves and pyramids, bridges and various other things inside the park. Additional picture

The bridge is called "Teufelsbrücke" (devils bridge) by Germans because it forms an almost perfect circle with the reflection in the water. Legend says that the architect of this bridge made a deal with a demon to build a bridge with the perfect form.
