2018年3月20日 · If you still watch DVD or most of your viewing is streaming 720p content IMHO the PQ is just a little better with the 5555 as I have both projectors. That being said the scaling of DVD to 1080p with the 7827 is more than good enough.

2006年11月28日 · What is 720p? 1024 x 768 or 1366 x 768? LCD's and Plasmas with 1024 and 1366 both say they are 720p? Which one is the true 720p? I know 1366 is a better resolution, but if a 720p broadcast is 1024X768 then does the extra resolution make for a better picture? Does 1366 offer a significant advantage when watching 1080?

2008年5月4日 · By contrast, 720p only needs around 6mbit to look tremendous with most content, and that's easily doable even with the 8.5GB limit most mkvs have (even possible with a 3hr film). X264 really is a tremendous encoder - at normal DVD bitrates you can have quality 720p instead, and that's 2.66* as many pixels.

2012年6月19日 · 720p and lower resolutions are not present on this graph simply because recently there is a battle going on related to 1080p vs 4K viewing distance. As for angular resolution higher than 60 pixels per degree, there is more than enough proof 60 is not even close to limit of human visual system.

2005年1月8日 · I don't understand why panel manufacturers uses a resolution of 1366x768 when 720p is 1280x720? I read somewhere that 1366x768 is WXGA. Weird, because I thought WXGA=1280x800. I'm hoping someone here can clear the confusion for me. Thanks.

2023年1月18日 · Youtube TV streams channels that broadcast in 720p, as 720p both live, recorded, or on-demand. That includes channels like Fox, ABC, ESPN, FX. The channels that broadcast in 1080i, stream with Youtube TV as 1080p, that includes CBS, NBC, TBS, TNT, etc.

2011年9月11日 · All things being equal, a 1080p native projector will probably be better than a native 720p projector (though even that depends on screen size/viewing distance!), but "all things" are rarely equal.

2014年12月11日 · 720p->2160p is much cleaner than 720p->1080p->2160p I can definitely see the difference between 1080i and 720p content on good quality broadcasts - the 1080i stuff is definitely a bit sharper, particularly on content originated 1080p. 720p still looks good though, and much better than even good 576i SD (I'm in Europe)

2017年8月19日 · Multisync monitors in the Sony BVM and PVM line do native 720p. Myself, I have a PVM 20L5 and it handles 720p content rather nicely if you can deal with the 20" size and letterbox presentation.
