Open files on your desktop. When you install Drive for desktop on your computer, it creates a drive in My Computer or a location in Finder named Google Drive.

To upload or create files or folders, you can use the “New” button. On your computer, go to drive.google.com.

Learn what items in Google Drive use storage space. Most files in your My Drive take up space as they contain files and folders you upload or sync, such as .pdf files, images, or videos.

On your computer, go to Google Drive. Select the file you want to share Share .; Enter the email address you want to share with.

To download a file from Google Drive: Go to drive.google.com.; Click a file to download. To download multiple files, press Command (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) click any other files.
