2009年8月16日 · It will be about a 2 hour drive. My thought was to take the one that is more steady tempered/ halter broke and to put it in the first section with the divider closed and the horse tied. Then let the other one loose in the rest of the trailer because the area seems too big to put a weanling in that is barely halter broke.

2013年11月15日 · I would but she isn't here for me to measure, hence the online researching. She is currently at my uncle's where she was born so I'm shopping without being able to measure her first. Thinking it might be wise to get her one of those adjustable weanling blankets so it can grow with her, just not sure what size range to buy.

2011年2月17日 · he had a few temper tantrums, but progressed quickly. he was weaned around 4 - 4.5 mos. by weanling he was used to clippers (still not a fan but each session gets easier) and halter broke, stands for farrier, etc. by a year he was able to longe with voice commands on a line (did this very lightly to learn handing/longing w/o taxing joints).

2022年1月24日 · I fed my weanling Cavalor Pro Breed. I feel he was quite under nourished when I brought him home. He had a rough hair coat, diminutive size and just all around non thrifty look. I was told he was eating Nutrena Mare & Foal. His first year he suffered terribly from sweet itch. Rubbing his skin raw and ripping his mane out. It was quite a struggle.

She wasn’t going to learn any manners at all being allowed to actually run the other horses with backup from the bosses all of the time.

I have an 8 month old weanling colt I've recently bought who is already fairly well mannered except for not really grasping the concept of "personal space" or not crashing into people. When being led and stopped he will not stop until his shoulder runs into you, or he will just push through you.
