2019年5月20日 · I would appreciate feedback on removing porcelain tile in and around a niche in a newly tiled shower stall. The niche recess was site built, with a shelf made from 2 pieces of tile with a Schluter Reno-T to cap the face of the shelf. The shelf slopes toward the rear of the niche and there is generally sloppy work within the niche.

When I charge hourly I find that I'm not tempted to move too quickly, and trying to move too quickly can lead to shortcuts and sloppy work (but of course bidding doesn't mean your sloppy what I'm saying is that with hourly charging I don't have the stressful temptation to move quick like someone with a bad bid).

2010年4月11日 · I would do exactly what Shoemaker said. Or even "W" flashing. Then you can also put the siding over the bricks by nailing 1x1s with a concrete gun or screw in the plywood directly on the bricks and use the screws for putting the siding up.
