2021年6月14日 · In the US we would just use the word "customer", as it implies we don't work there and are needing help from someone who does. "Client" (in the US) would refer more to a regular paying customer - like a man who has a lawyer on his payroll.

2016年7月31日 · I read 'business' in the sense of 'company', 'firm' or 'organisation'. If that's correct I am then guessing that the 'customer' and the 'vendor' are, respectively, a customer and supplier of the business. If this is the case I would support @alwayslearning's suggestion of 'party'. Otherwise I'm not too sure that the business would be a party.

2017年8月22日 · @Lawrence I'd have to disagree with the answer here. The asker has given context where he has included this sentence: "A customer can book a one-time service or choose an interval.". In your case he'd have to write something like "A customer can book a one-time service or choose a regular service/interval" which seems ambiguous.

For example: "regular coffee" (not usual, normal or ordinary) , "ordinary people" (not regular), "usual way to do something" (sometimes "common way"). Please help me understand the difference between these words.
