Ravines Wine Cellars is an artisanal winery in the flourishing, world-class wine region of the Finger Lakes, located in upstate New York. It is the passion of Morten & Lisa Hallgren, a European Winemaker/Oenologist and his Chef wife.

Ravines utilizes minimal intervention in the cellar and employs sustainable winegrowing practices on steep-sloping vineyards with limestone and shalestone soils.

Wine Spectator awarded different bottlings of our Dry Rieslings as top 100 Wines in the World in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016. NY Times wine critic, Eric Asimov has raved, “... New York Rieslings don’t come any better than those from Ravines.” Different for a reason.

Coming from Ravines two estate vineyards on Seneca Lake, the 16 Falls Vineyard (east side) and White Springs Vineyard (west side).

Our recipes are prepared with fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and dairy from our local farms. The meats are ethically grown here in the Finger Lakes and we grow our own herbs and keep bees for Ravines' honey. These recipes are included in the quarterly newsletter received with your order.
