2019年11月10日 · Notion now has "Notion Calendar" where all databases can be viewed in that calendar. It is another application to download or desktop window to be open but its is the easiest way to have all databases on one calendar view. They also have the calendar linked in the sidebar of the notion app/desktop site so it's more accessible.

2022年3月12日 · Yup, people have been using kaTeX in notion for a while now and it can be fun; you can use it for more than just color (eg. you can use it to change font styles, create tables, etc) but because it is code, you will see the full code in some instances (like if you use kaTeX for headings, notion displays the full code in a Table of Contents block).

2020年10月13日 · The concept behind it is obviously to leverage Notion's databases, references, and linked databases as much as possible. The trick here is that whenever you create a linked database inside another database, every item you create will automatically be tagged with a relation linking it back to that second database.

What I am doing now, is using a column for summary generation, and another for generated tags, and then having GPT/Langchain query Notion for relevant documents (using the Notion API and filters) when it is working on stuff. It would be awesome to have it add pages to the Notion DB with responses, but I am not quite that far in the process yet.

Notion's aha moment comes when you understand what a "database" is. I had this pain point back in the days when I was using Onenote, where I wanted to organize all my "notes" or knowledge into 4 levels of folders. And that was something Onenote could not do. When I discovered Notion, I immediately realized that it was something I really needed.

2021年8月26日 · I use Notion at work, but I use my personal Notion account for my daily to-do lists. I just pop all my tasks on a board view and move 'em all along. In my free time, I use Notion to organise my reading with lists of books I've read, how much time I've spent on each book, books to buy, bookshops I'd like to visit, and my notes on books I've liked.
