2010年12月11日 · The hunt went well and I lucked out on a nice bull shortly into the hunt. The weather was perfect and I took my time taking pics, skinning and starting the quartering process. I soon found out I not only had good company, but was also treated to a surprise as I was preparing to pack my elk out.

2012年10月30日 · Now to my surprise when she told me she shot a 3-point when i got there, i was a little bit worried. We manage our property really well and try to only shoot larger mature bucks. And she knows what a good buck is, she has killed a few in here hunting years that are really nice bucks.

2009年6月10日 · Dunno about that, as I expected a better one from that HD ... but full disclosure, I'm an old guy who's seen and taken a few nice ones. (abeit haven't shot one in a decade.) That buck has nice antler configuration, a cool kicker, and dark tones ... but kinda spindly antlers. No disrespect meant. Congrats.

2020年6月25日 · The new accufit stocks are a huge improvement over the old stocks and the 110 action and barrel nut are so easy to work on a cave man could do it. Nothing elegant about them, unless you consider practicality and reliability and accuracy to be elegant. I've yet to have a Savage of any kind really surprise me in a bad way.

2016年6月27日 · Well a pleasant surprise when we won the draw after 3 years of applying! This was a first antelope hope for 2 of us, We hunted Sunday and planned for a couple days to hunt. After checking out a good chunk of the area and looking at great amount of bucks, we found some Sunday afternoon in an area that stood out from everything else.

2018年11月21日 · I also question their reasoning but it very well might be the case. after buying 2 different Howa Alpine Rifles with the Cerakoted bolt barrel and action (essentially the exact same barrel and action you have on your Kuiu model) I've noticed a couple things worth noting and worth letting legacy sports know about.

2010年7月22日 · I think the 6.5 PRC would be a really nice cartridge to have to hunt and shoot with. Now maybe you should take something like I did when I found a nice Winchester Model 70 Classic Sporter in 270 and got it for a good price. I took it to my gunsmith and had a new barrel put on and other work and bam I now have a 280AI.

2016年5月13日 · Eastern KY trapping started today. Put out a bunch of dogproofs to start getting the possums and raccoons and a few coyote sets. Will put out a few more each evening while I walk the trapline. I enjoy this time of year. My Brother in Law got a really nice Bob last night. Has been slaying the raccoons.
