I've always been satisfied with the quality of their work, and the cable and connectors used were ones they advertised and what was in the pictures, which isn't always the case with cables purchased on Amazon or eBay.

2013年1月18日 · Has anyone been successful with DISH installing Hoppers using previous (older) premium RG-6 coaxial cables? Several years old and would not think it would be rated 3,000 MHz. When did that rating become available? I have a built-in powered distribution cabinet located in the garage full of unmarked RG-6 cables about 10 years old.

2008年2月20日 · You can do that, but I recommend at least having the dish cables pass by the electric panel for grounding before extending them to an interior panel. EDIT: If your dad is a telecom guy, see if he can score some structured cable to wire your home with (2 coax + 2 cat5 bundled in one jacket).

2018年11月6日 · I am getting rid of Dish Network and installing an amplified outdoor antenna. My DISH outside has two RG6 cables coming from it to a junction/connector outside the house and then two cables from the other side of the junction/connector going into the wall of the house. I have one cable wall outlet upstairs and one cable wall outlet downstairs.

2006年9月19日 · Well, like I said in the post before yours, I have gotten higher signal strengths using some RG-59 cables than some RG-6. A good RG-6 is always better, but the best RG-59's are going to be better than the worst RG-6's. And there are times when certain types of RG-6 cables are better suited to specific applications.

2013年9月18日 · Drill holes to accommodate coaxial cables (with appropriate grommets) in the boxes and in the blank metal cover plates, and feed the cables through as needed. Filling in the boxes with expandable insulation (i.e., Great Stuff) before applying the plates will provide a bit of extra insulation.

2012年1月12日 · Dish uses the standard coaxial cables just like Direct tv and the cable company. Dish will fit right in without any rewiring unless you have a bad cable.
