2024年10月7日 · Amber actually flouresces in different colors depending on where it’s from the most common is a milky blue green but there are other colors including red! as for experience I have handled and checked a couple thousand pieces in my life (a friend used to have a rock shop) and have over 300 pieces with inclusions in my personal collection.

2024年2月22日 · Got a cool one for you guys: a decent sized scorpion in amber from Burma. Probably about 100 million years old. The most interesting part to me is the tail sort of curves down 90 degrees perpendicular to the body (you can see it in the last pic side view) and that kind of 3D preservation is rare in amber.
