2021年4月2日 · Hello, now with VB 6.1 i succefully installed windows 7 but got stuck (freeze) in windows logo "starting windows". Tried a lot of different configs, nothing works. Months ago I used VB normally in previous version 5.x

2007年7月23日 · Actually it is stuck on boot screen, showing VirtualBox logo. I have tried many things like resetting all settings to default in VirtualBox, then create a new VM with default settings that uses my vbox disk. But no success in reviving the machine. I had a quick look in logs, I don't see any clue that would give any direction to fix this.

2020年11月21日 · If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set. Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

2024年2月13日 · That's the Virtualbox EFI boot loader, not Windows 11's installer. Click ESC to get out of the language selector. Then use the keys indicated at the bottom black area to select the Boot Manager, then boot from the ISO.

Started this VirtualBox "Win2016PG" (OS is Windows 2016 x86-64), screen hangs / stops on Windows logo (no rolling-dots), no high load on the (physical) host. A clean shutdown, e.g. with Windows Shutdown is not possible ... not started yet, so I had to "Power off the machine".

Corrected D:\Programs\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe modifyvm Mint.vbox --bioslogoimagepath C:\path\to\bmp8bit-image.bmp Notice the differences and try again. By the way this would have failed in Linux as well but the syntax is exactly the same in both.
