2017年9月7日 · As far as a water supply, at our camp up in Maine we used a 55 gallon plastic drum with a hand pump for general water usage, and clean plastic Jerry cans for potable water. Of course you can always boil just about any water. Also, in Africa, I brought a water bottle with a filter that filtered parasites, bacteria AND viruses.

2024年12月20日 · We used to cause dirty water flushing the fire hydrants (caused water leaks too on occasion). Would go back to clean when the water flow got back to normal. I got a filter on mine too (bored) and I change it about once a year, but its just me. Amazing how dirty it is, and the water always appeared and tasted fine before I put the filter on.

2020年5月10日 · This water heater can be repaired, why was a 20amp breaker on it? should be a 30 with #10 wire, both elements never come on at the same time, never! The thermostats are wired wrong. Check amps ( @18.75 amps for a 4500 watt element) make sure thermostats are in contact with tank, the resets on t-stats trip for for high temp .

2024年12月31日 · The old bypass hose needs replaced, but good fortune... Orielly's had one for the 289 in stock. Run to town, pick up the bypass hose and a new brass ell for the intake side hose connection. Bypass hose has to be cut to length, which is a pain in the patootie, but I get it cut right and installed. Hook up the top heater core hose to the water pump.

2025年1月21日 · Supposed to be in the 8-9 degree range tonight. I used to enjoy cold weather and snow, not so much these days. Got the heat at 70, the fireplace going, and have my Heater Buddy sitting in front of me..... getting old I guess. I'm ready for the white bass run to get going!
