2013年11月29日 · I do not need either a 3g or 4 g connection. I do need WiFi and even more important a real GPS receiver built in. Which of the Samsung tablets have both WiFi and a real GPS receiver. I use the term real GPS receiver as some cheap tablets use only cell tower triangulation for location and that if far from accurate for a boat's navigation.

2013年9月26日 · Wifi location is used to get a "general location" so that it knows what GPS satellites to look for. It speeds up getting a lock. A navigation app would work just fine, but without built-in GPS it won't know where you are. You're confusing grabbing map data with actually knowing your location outside of a wifi access point.

2012年8月15日 · Any news on the topic? I have tried different tablets in Office Depot demo stand and the best and loudest sound was on Lenovo Ideapad s2109 with quad speakers on back. Second place was Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1 with two speakers on front. Others like Toshiba Excite 10 and Asus tf300 was really quiet.

2015年5月4日 · Re: Use Galaxy Tab S (wifi only) as a gps I use Sygic for GPS on my Tab S 8.4 in my car. Sygic, available in the Play Store, uses Tom-Tom maps. Once you learn how to navigate with Sygic, it is pretty good. The graphics, speed warnings and camera warnings are great.
