Court police officers will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible whether you can expect to secure a seat in the Courtroom. Before entering the Supreme Court Building, all visitors are screened by a magnetometer and all personal belongings are screened by an x-ray machine.

The Supreme Court Building is open to the public Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on weekends and all federal holidays. In addition to the Courtroom, portions of the first and ground floors of the Supreme Court Building are open to the public.
