Hold on mate, this isn't SteamOS 3 dropping for everyone, you might experience some serious issues. I'd advise you don't install until Valve actually officially drops support. This is not support for all devices, just a Steam Deck specific build.

EDIT: And to answer your question, yes you could install it to a PC once Valve releases an image. But it wouldn't be the most reasonable choice for a PC.

It is immutable, based on arch and has a gnome based desktop that is superior to steamos’ kde based desktop. If those words don’t mean anything to you… it doesn’t matter.
