2009年12月7日 · I have the Silhouette SD and LOVE iT! My biggest pro/con is the Silhouette has MANY more designs options. Including the abilty to upload clipart from the internet and convert them into cuttable designs. The Cricut requires cartridges that have design group and/or themes. I have seen the Cricut cartridges for $80 where clipart can be FREE.

2008年3月17日 · I have the extra large Mega Hoop for my Janome 300E. I bought it when I bought my machine way back when, but the owner of the sewing store said that it was basically useless because it has that "no man's land" in the middle where you can't stitch anything. She said it was basically only for doing flower borders and such. I don't do flower borders.

2010年9月6日 · I stitched one of shar824's picnic ants and made a lunch tote. I used my seatbelt cover design which is a large rectangle with stippling and then sewed the pieces together on my machine with a zig zag stitch. I lined the tote with PUL for easy cleaning. The ribbon handles are recycled from a shopping bag.

2010年4月8日 · I agree with Zoey Bee about some of the cheeply made potholders in stores. I wanted to take the easy way out and use a store potholder as batting, but after testing the items, wouldn't waste my time or potentially burn a person using them. It's bad enough when you pull from your stash what you think is 100% cotton fabric.
