In order to have the highest chance of catching a shiny, you have to faint 500 Nickits total and have a current chain of 25 Nickit fainted. This gives you a 33% chance of 6 extra rolls for a shiny on any subsequent encounter, which works out to be ~1/585 at highest odds with no shiny charm.

2024年6月2日 · Started hunting Wooloo and Nickit on Route 1 yesterday, and the rarer one spawned first (I've gotten 500 KOs on Wooloo and have been running since, so I don't have an encounter count for it) This is after I got Pokerus yesterday in Crown Tundra, while evolving some Wonder Box Pokemon for HOME's GO dex.

2019年12月17日 · Starters are shiny locked In previous games, you could soft reset the game right at the start to re-roll the shiny encounter for each of the three Pokemon Sword and Shield starters. In Sword and Shield, this is impossible. The only way to get a shiny starter (Sobble, Grookey, Scorbunny) is via breeding. Legendaries cannot be shiny yet

[Gen7] While shiny hunting for a nickit in sword, I'd found a different shiny fox in ultra sun while sosing on the side. [8] N is for Nickit in exactly 250 brilliant encounters! (including 500 KO'd to get max odds) 14/26 for the shiny alphabet hunt :)

2019年11月18日 · As soon as I got access to Pokéballs I turned around and starting chaining for a Nickit on Route 1. I’m nearing 900 now and have seen others in the thousands who happened to be going after Wooloo and Rookidee. Before I spend ten more hours searching, I figured I’d ask if anyone has caught a Shiny on Route 1.

Oh, and I also remember seeing it in the overworld for the first time (I was a No Spoiler so I thought shineis could be seen in the overworld) And thought it was a shiny Skwovet Thievul: I used a Thievul for a long time of my playthrough so I appreciate it for that.
