Of course even a cheap $20 tower cooler like the Thermalright Assassin X 120 would do a much better job in terms of both temps and noise levels, but again it's not strictly necessary .

The B550 board brought an improvement technically, because there are no Bluescreens and the system is a lot more stable at 3200 MHz than before and I still haven't tried with manual RAM overclock, but I was expecting at least the XMP profiles to work.

With a Ryzen 5 2600, a ~ 4 GHz overclock and faster RAM you'll easily get 90 FPS+ in those titles. That said, you will be CPU bottlenecked at 1080p, and in a year or two it'll be worth upgrading your CPU if you plan to play the latest titles at a higher refresh rate.

The CPU itself is not listed amongst the supported CPUs but I've read on a few places that the chipset does support the CPU. 1660 super na thats not going to give as good a experience especially if he is upgrading he could already have a card of similar performance the 3070 has 60% more performance then a 1660super where even a 5600x is only 16% better then his current 2600.Im doing a similar upgrade going from a 1650 to the 3070 you will end up bottlenecking at 1080 and maybe …
