2011年4月28日 · The DVD has a "Play All Chapters" option, and will play the DVD without a break in between chapters. However, when I use VLC's record function, it will only record the first chapter and nothing else, even though the recording button is still showing that it is recording. I first tried this with VLC 1.1.8, and I just installed 1.1.9.

2024年4月27日 · This worked for a while and always works if I just play the DVD, but has now stopped working when I try and rip it. I tried Show more options > Play another media sychronously, copying in " :audio-track=2 :disc-caching=300" then selecting a silent audio track like 5 or 6 for it to overwrite.

2013年2月16日 · I've got a DVD which I want to rip using VLC. The DVD contains different titles, 3 of the titles are episodes. I want to rip just 1 episode (1 title). I select the title in the convert/save menu and I mark "no disk menu's" selected. However, when it finishes the episode I want to rip, it continues with a different episode.

2022年10月1日 · Now for my problem with VLC. My first attempt at ripping a DVD worked great, the 1987 movie Spaceballs. But every movie I've tried since, including the special edition version of Spaceballs that we own, eventually comes out of sync with the audio. I tried, once, with the five-minute version of WinX DVD Ripper.

2008年11月21日 · Got some clue, but I am not sure weather it will work for others. I can now play all region DVDs except Region 3 by a simple trick in Vlc. I went to File menu of the media player (am using 0.8.6 version of vlc), then open disc, went to disc, then in the Disc device option I rewrote D:/VIDEO_TS and then clicked play. This thing did the trick for me.

Post by VLC_help » Tue Jan 11, 2011 2:10 pm VLC cannot play all DVD Video discs because they contain additional copy protection methods that VLC doesn't support. One option is to rip those movies to hard drive with tools like AnyDVD or DVDfab decrypter.
