2024年6月27日 · What restored my 'lost'/missing folders was going to my Edge Settings and signing out (which disables Sync) then signing back in again (which enables Sync). Also, in Settings, via the Sync option, I quickly and briefly switched the Sync option on for Favourites, before switching it off again.

2020年5月1日 · Then, click the 3 dots on the upper-right to open Options. Click Favorites > Show Favorites bar > Always. This way it will always show the Favorites Toolbar. If your favorites are not showing up, click the 3 dots on the upper-right to open Options. Click Settings, under Profiles, click Sync then turn on the Favorites. I hope this helps.

2019年7月15日 · For backup and restore reasons, in the new Edge Chromium, besides exporting the favorites to an .html file and then importing it back to Edge, there is an alternative way. The favorites of Edge are kept in a file called Bookmarks in the folder C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default .

2020年8月30日 · A new Favorites folder was Auto Generated during the installation called "Other Favorites" It was a confusing double set of the Original FAVORITES folders I thought. So to clean and organize the Favorites I started to delete those "Duplicate" Folders in "Other Favorites" using the "Manage Favorites" tool.

Before that, I backed up my SSD onto a HDD and then put the storage back after windows reset. I did not backup my favorites before doing the reset in Microsoft Edge or have sync on at the time. I currently have only old favorites from long ago, which is apparently when I turned sync off.

2022年3月25日 · So I was noticing that I wasn't getting history to sync across devices (even though it was enabled on both) so I went a reset sync on my windows 11 machine. That resulted in me losing all my favorites (page just has empty favorites bar and empty folder). For kicks I tries to export from my other device and reimport, but that did nothing.
