2019年3月27日 · The SOF is a really great tourniquet but the reason I do not carry it more is due to the cost, weight, and lack of carrying capability. Again, this is just my personal preference. For now the CAT7, SOF-W, RATs, and SWAT are the only commercial tourniquets that I recommend.

2016年12月1日 · I've been diving into some studies on the RATS tourniquet (don't get me started), but one of the studies had a comparison that included the SWAT-T. IIRC, the main point of contention was correct application of wraps under stress -- either too narrow causing potential tissue damage, or too wide to be effectual.

2016年12月11日 · RATS There is no determined date of expiration. "Made from vulcanized rubber, it can handle the heat." It should be routinely inspected. It should be stretched to ensure elasticity. The outer nylon cover to the rubber should be free from frays. If frays or loss of elasticity is noticed, replace it. CAT The tourniquet does not expire.
