Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the first game I've played since the 9th-generation consoles launched that feels like a true next-gen title. Insomniac Games has done everything that it needed to do in making both a sequel to its longest-running franchise and a true next-gen exclusive.

2021年6月9日 · So I agree length doesn’t really matter a lot of the time. I mean even Uncharted 4 was what like 15 or 20 hours. I prefer longer games but if a game is good enough, or at least feels complete even at a shorter finish time, that doesn’t matter to me. I loved Village and I love Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart as well. Totally worth the price.

In rift apart's intro it was mentioned that the way ratchet and clank met was how it happened in R&C 2016, also the whole galactic ranger thing is canon too, AND you can find Drek at Zurkies in sheep form (because nefarious turned him into a sheep in the 2016 game).

Idek man, Ive been playing the originals for the past couple months and the gameplay loop feels less repetitive then in rift apart. Rift apart had the same minibosses way too many times, the arena was weak sauce, the game was extremely short and returning to planets felt empty and barren (all backtracking and being rewarded for it was gone).
