Paying $800 a month for climate controlled storage for all 3 PODS, and it will cost about $10K to have them delivered once we settle on a place. I know that i'm supposed to tip, i'm just not sure how much since it's such a small cube, and it really won't take long to unload it. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I do believe you need a permit to place an object like a storage pod or (more often) a dumpster on the street. You might try to get in contact with Streets & Sanitation to find out what the deal is.

2020年5月16日 · The containers can get really hot. So can moving vans. Both are under the sun's rays from beginning to end. You could consider shipping the DVDs etc. by USPS or UPS. Yes, they will spend a lot of time in a truck, but they will have a "break" at distribution centers and they might travel faster than any POD- type container.

2015年2月23日 · Our current plan is to sell our home in NJ and rent in CC while we find a house to purchase. Hopefully, only a month or two at most. Under these conditions, it seems like a container move using Pods, Pack-Rat or similar might be the way to go. The container(s) are packed once and stay in storage until they are needed at the new house.
