For example, Kimura Ryohei (Childe's JP voice actor) does theatre, minor acting roles and commercial stuff. It often comes as a surprise when people are told they're not really cash cows. Despite the idol treatment they get, voice acting is still an art form so you have to actively look for work/commissions when you can.

Where is Paimon's VA?! pout Paimon would be sad ;) But for reals, its pretty impressive how many notable JP voice actors miHoYo got for this game. With potential room for other voice actors, I'd REALLY like to see Rie Takahashi voice a character, as well as Inori Minase, and please please PLEASE, get Kana Hanazawa to do one as well.

I don't really want the whole game in a different language since honestly the big draw for me is that its fully voice acted, which is SUPER rare in games like this. But I also don't want to listen to Paimon. New idea: Recast the voice actress for English Paimon with Samuel Jackson. Game becomes instantly 10000% better.

Oct 15, 2021 · Then I played that video and new island's quest together to see the difference in Paimon's new and old voice and the difference was staggering. I really couldn't stand new voice and quit the game in between the cut scene and switched to JP. Since I was playing with JP voice for past 6-7 months, I really didn't notice this at all until yesterday.

Apr 28, 2022 · The moment I heard Paimon speak in Sayu's hangout, was surprised how her voice was even more high pitch than what I remembered when I first start playing the game. I thought it was just me. Ten I look up the Paimon voicelines in the story archives and noticed the big difference after a minute of comparing them.

Her voice in the voice-over sounds really muffled, like recorded with a bad microphone or something. And she also sounds a lot softer compared to her cutscene and combat voice, which are pretty sharp. Meanwhile, Paimon sounds just like Paimon. I haven't checked the other languages, only had this one on hand.

Oct 30, 2021 · Today JMS announced Lara's voice actor Aoi Koga. However a member in our game chat group hinted me that she is also the Japanese voice actor of Paimon. After further searching I found Lara's Korean voice actor Ga-ryeong Kim is also the Korean voice actor of Paimon. Do you think Nexon chose Paimon's voice actors for Lara on purpose?
