Welcome to the Oxford and Cambridge Club. For nearly 200 years alumni of the two ancient universities have chosen to take up membership and enjoy the outstanding amenities and sophisticated setting of a Grade II* listed Club house in the very heart of London.
About the Club - Oxford and Cambridge Club
The Club was formed in March 1972 by the amalgamation of the United University Club and the Oxford and Cambridge University Club. In its first year, the Club was housed at 1 Suffolk Street and thereafter at 71 – 77 Pall Mall.

Applying for Membership | Oxford and Cambridge Club
The Oxford and Cambridge Club is a members’ club. To be considered for election to membership, an eligible candidate must be proposed and seconded by existing members, known personally to the candidate.
History - Oxford and Cambridge Club
The Oxford and Cambridge Club is the result of a number of amalgamations, most recently between the United University Club of 1821 and the Oxford and Cambridge University Club, which was established nine years later. Members, both men and women, are drawn exclusively from the alumni and senior staff of both universities.
Sports & Activities - Oxford and Cambridge Club
Sport has traditionally played a key role in Club life and Members are able to participate in a variety of different pursuits. Some choose to compete against their fellow Members and those from rival clubs, others simply care to enjoy themselves among friends.

Please note that Club membership is on an individual basis only. Membership Categories. Our membership is divided into the following categories: London Members. Those having a residential or business address within 100 miles of the Club house. Country Members. Those not having a residential or business address within 100 miles of the Club house.
