Finding out more and more information we have come across a lot of reviews with transmission problems for all of these vehicles. Also, searching in google, cars with transmission problems, we came across a Consumer Report article from May 29, 2021.

2016年6月3日 · @mikey1951, with Nissan V6 engines I've learned they are crazy notorious for developing dirty MAF sensors and throttle bodies. Starting back with my 00 I30's VQ30DE-K, through my 07 G35 and now the EX, it's become increasingly clear that these engines are far more sensitive than most to changes within the intake system.

2023年12月14日 · And even after I finally get things right, I notice that my driver side vents are 2-3 degrees warmer than the passenger side vents. I think Nissan has not perfected the hvac on the 3rd gen Rogue yet. The CR-V I traded in didn't have this fancier dual AC system and I yearn to have my old hvac back.

2023年4月7日 · I’ve since learned of the problems with the CVT transmission in this vehicle. This model is part of a class action suit whereby Nissan extended its warranty to 84 months/84.000 miles I believe. The vehicle has under 50,000 miles , however it appears to be close to or just past the listed month’s requirement which would render the warranty void.

Mind you that no technician at Nissan was willing to check one simple part.

2021年11月13日 · After Nissan tried to sell me a new long block, I went home and did some searching. I knew my Pathfinder has always been properly maintained and the engine shouldn't have sludge. I found this forum and Bob Is The Oil Guy very quickly, because as we all know, there are problems with this engine (well, the PCV hose actually as mentioned above).

The sensors are not very expensive; around $120. Inspect the harness connectors on all the sensors for any oxidation or loose connections.
