When you get to the Adjust Contrast screen, it just says "Using the contrast control on your display, set . . ." but there is no contrast control on my laptop display and there is nothing on the screen to click on to adjust it there. The change lasts less than a second and happens most often when I open these programs or when I move the cursor around, especially when the program is minimized.

2025年1月10日 · I have an HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 10 64-bit. Whenever I click between programs, the screen seems to automatically adjust contrast. This is HEAVILY noticeable when switching between lighter and darker backgrounds, i.e. Chrome and Discord. The display 'dims' when the screen is mostly black / grey / darker colors.

I have had some monitors that show some "eco" bars when the ambient brightness changes. Could you describe the box? Does it look like the one in Windows? Or does it look different?
