2012年7月27日 · once you've done that, you can start texturing. don't texture directly onto the terrain.png. make a new image in gimp, 64x64 and make your texture there. then save it as a .png, open it as a layer on terrain.png and put it in it's spot. using the grid, and having the snap to grid option on are both very helpful for this part.

So I decided to look for a way to fix this because there are some really amazing texture packs out there. And then I realized I don't even know what those "measurements" even mean (i'm a complete noob, ik).

2016年9月12日 · note: Changed the texture pack back to my custom one and even with mipmap on 4, the grain is there again on the trees. However it's smooth in the vanilla pack. Now I'm just confused. Completely unsure why this is. edit: I changed the texture pack back to vanilla and the grain reappeared even with mipmap on 4.

2019年6月7日 · The texture pack is named "Steven's Traditional 64x64 [1.14]". I tested a bit, and I did get a 32x32 version of Faithful to work without crashing, although it lags slightly every now and then. So it's definitely not an issue with corruption in the files or anything.
