I took the finding to Martin who implemented MF access for Brio in vMix 22. The camera is listed as "Logitech Brio MF" to indicate the new access method.

2021年4月14日 · I can run one of my logitech Brios through the Logi-Capture software, but I have to set up vMix first AND load one Brio first, otherwise I get a camera unavailable issue. The Logitech-Capture software doesn't seem to allow the loading of two instances on the same computer; however, it can adjust both cameras, but not stream from both cameras.

However, when set to use MJPEG there are several frames of latency to the resulting stream. It has been discovered that there's not such latency when Brio is used with the MS Camera app.

2020年8月18日 · If using the MF option, you can add the Brio microphone as another input by going to Add Input, then selecting Audio Input. On the drop down you'll see Microphone (Logitech BRIO). Or you use/choose the Brio without the MF option which as you discovered allows for the microphone to be added via the drop down. That's the way it seems to work.

2017年9月29日 · Webcams can work well, if the lighting is good. They have the advantage of being small and easily placed near the work. I recommend the Logitech C920, C922 or C930e. I'd shy away from the Logitech Brio. The camcorder, GoPro, etc likely have HDMI outputs. I presume that you have some kind of HDMI capture device. I'd be wary of the GoPro's.
