Lake Sunapee is located within Sullivan County and Merrimack County in western New Hampshire, the United States. It is the fifth-largest lake located entirely in New Hampshire.

Lake Sunapee is a beautiful and quite unspoiled location with private homes, docks, individual boathouses and a few very small sandy beach areas. There are NO hotels, shops, or commercial zones except for Sunapee Harbor (the Anchorage restaurant, marina, ice cream, two gift stores).

There are four public boat ramps on Lake Sunapee and one private ramp open to the public to access the lake at Sunapee Harbor, Georges Mills, Mount Sunapee State Park (State Beach), Blodgett Landing and Burkehaven.

The 4,085-acre lake at Mt.Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking. The beach has a store, canoe and kayak rentals, a playground and a bathhouse.
