2023年6月28日 · There is no Kindle folder within Application Support. Tried showing hidden files too. And prior to that I had first installed the new Kindle App for Mac. Couldn't find them there, but read that it was easier with Kindle Classic, so I removed the new one and installed Classic. Any new suggestions, please? Thank you.

2020年11月25日 · The version of Kindle for Mac that is in the Mac App Store is still at version 1.3.0, which was released a month ago (11/2020). You may be waiting awhile for Amazon to again update this application, or alternatively, you could use their Kindle Cloud Reader (requires Amazon sign-in).

2023年4月20日 · So I went to the App Store and tried to download the current version, 1.40.1. The square dot appears and the circle fills for several seconds, then circling arrows appear for several seconds--exactly as if it were downloading and installing. Finally, the message appears: Unable to Download App"Kindle" could not be installed. Pleasetry again later.

2021年3月9日 · Kindle app keeps crashing on Mac 10.13.6 (High Sierra) I have trashed, downloaded and reinstalled the Kindle for Mac app twice from the Amazon app site. The same problem reoccurs. The app will not open, or, if it does, will open to the library or book and crash after the next step (e.g., backing or forwarding a page.) Crash log below.
