Community Inclusion & Day Programs - Kindale
Kindale provides Community Living and Day Options to adults of all ages – from youth to seniors – and at all levels of functioning. These day programs make an immense difference in the lives of people with developmental and other disabilities.

Kindale Developmental Association is a registered charity, founded in 1959, that supports persons with disabilities and their families in communities throughout the North Okanagan and Shuswap regions. Kindale is not-for-profit, community-centred, and CARF accredited.
History - Kindale
Kindale began in Armstrong in 1959 as a small school for children with special needs. The original school was the vision of Lydia Boss, a public health nurse serving Armstrong and Enderby. She was aware of a number of children in the area with developmental disabilities, including her own son Gary, who had no access to public education.

Residential Homes - Kindale
Kindale owns and operates multiple group homes in the North Okanagan and Shuswap areas that provide safe and supportive housing for dozens of individuals.
