2023年1月9日 · The last 50 quests for Kalimdor were rough. Might have been burnout or because I was alliance, but the end of Kalimdor was the most difficult part for me. Complete zones fully when doing Outlands and Northrend before moving on. A few quests require you to travel to different zones and just wait to save those till the end of that zone.

2021年8月20日 · The Horde left for Kalimdor before the Culling at of Stratholme. The few orcs Arthas and Uther fought were not part of Thralls Horde and might have been loyal to the Legion. This is explained in the intro to WC3 where the Thrall was visited by Medivh and took his advice to leave, sailing away on Alliance ships.

2019年8月16日 · Kalimdor. The Barrens and Desolace are my favorite areas. Barrens Chat in classic was never a dull moment which helped a lot with levelling. Mulgore is beautiful, Winterspring is an adventure, the same with 1k Needles. Tanaris is simply magical. I'm gettin hyped for classic just typing this! Here's to reliving the glory days boys and girls!

2021年9月27日 · a big thing to remember is all of the native races of kalimdor are heavily druidic night elves, tauren, and dark trolls. the only race native to kalimdor that didnt actively practice druidism were the centaur, and even they were connected to druidism by cenarius' son (I think) being their progenitor. everyone there had reasons to preserve the wild nature of the continent.

I mean, the world building of the kingdoms isnt that great in the game, but thats for gameplay reasons. There also isn't any castles. eastern kingdom isn't that hard to conquer. 3 villages in all of stormwind, which means that they have a tiny population.

As a Kalimdor enjoyer, I'm triggered!!1 But seriously tho, Kalimdor zones felt unique and novel for an rpg at the time. Yes, deserts, but also african steppes , american canyons, purple forests, jurassic park... While EK have a lot of basic rpg forests and meadows that I've seen many times before and since.
