2004年7月8日 · The KLR has the better creature comforts. The C seat is a 2x4 and there is little wind protection. These bikes can often be picked up cheaply and if you like to tinker, the wind,seat and fuel capacity can be addressed for less then a comparable year KLR. So I guess my answer is, if you stumble on a cheap good one, jump on it.

The bike in these photos is sold by Mecum as “is the last and known lowest mileage KLR decommissioned according to issuing SF-97 agency,” for whatever that’s worth. Back before COVID, you could pick one of these machines up for about $5,000 USD on the surplus market.

2014年12月25日 · Don't hesitate going orange if you can afford it. I love my KLR, rode it today and had fun, but. I have sipped the orange kool aide, it tastes gooooood. I have the Ricor intiminators in the front and a progressive shock rear on my 07 KLR. The Cogent is a better shock, i happened upon a closeout deal on the progressive shock.
