2012年1月29日 · Hi I want to acces, open "inetmgr.exe" on my Windows 7 machine. But none of the searches are working. ( Start Menu --> Search Program and Files NOR Search in My Computer). The problem is I'm unable to see the IIS manager when I start it (not displaying). but, Inetmgr.exe is running in background service and I can see the application showing in taskbar too. 2017年11月29日 · Well solved. I have not actually not checked "IIS Management Console" while installing roles from control panel > Administrative tools > Server Manager. I finally checked and added role "IIS Management console" and inetmgr works in run window. –

2025年1月18日 · @LexLi thanks, I'm able to find W3WP (IIS work process) exceptions in the Event Viewer (Applications section). Now need to figure out where to find InetMgr & Global exceptions. InetMgr is the IIS Manager executable, not sure what Global refers to. I will look into enabling WER –

2009年7月22日 · If I type the inetmgr in the run command I am getting an error: "Windows cannot find inetmgr. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again" But when I look in the second way i have IIS in the Windows Component.

In a command prompt: C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\Inetmgr.exe /reset. This problem occurs when I open IIS Manager and when I have two monitors, and then later try to open it again over RDP with only one monitor. Using this reset command fixes it for me.
