for anybody else looking to do this on a Moto One 5g Ace with stock OS, android 11. once in Sounds and Vibrations i had to scroll to the bottom and expand the Advanced option, then I found the Power On Sounds toggle in the Other Sounds and Vibrations section.

2023年7月2日 · I set the updates for 1 A.M. and when the phone resets itself after the update, it's waking me up with the loudest HELLO MOTO possible in the middle of the night. I'm afraid of restarting my phone in public spaces as I never know if my phone won't explode vomiting the HELLO MOTO sound on a bus or office etc.

2019年8月1日 · Every since the last update I have found it impossible to mute the "Hello Moto" startup sound. I have tried this procedure and I can find the on/off setting for "power up sound" but even when I have it set to off and it turns grey I still get the "Hello Moto" startup sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was already a little bent out of shape over getting this phone, but when it turned itself on, updated in the middle of the night, and then rebooted itself, it woke me out of a sound sleep, and I thought it said, "HELLO MORTAL!"

2021年8月31日 · Hello, thank you for replying! I have checked several times already and again just now. My settings are in Dutch but no such setting is there, nothing about a startup sound or any Dutch variation of that. Only standard notification noise and the like, all of which are off.
