East of the Navajo and Hopi Indian Reservations, and south of the Utah state line. The Colorado River is shown through the entire 277 mile transect of Grand Canyon National Park.

Admission to Grand Canyon National Park is for 7 days and includes both the South Rim, and during their season, the North Rim. No cash is accepted at the park's 3 entrance stations; credit/debit card only. No refunds are given due to inclement weather.

Most lodges in Grand Canyon Village are within walking distance of the canyon rim. Reservations are by Delaware North and Xanterra Parks & Resorts. (Grand Canyon Village)

A worthwhile trip for those who enjoy the road less traveled, the North Rim, or "other side" of Grand Canyon is visited by only 10% of all park visitors. Lodge and campground will be open between May 15 and October 15, 2025.
